Thai patterns with Mandarin on the @cite{moroney-2021} typology: bare nouns serve uniqueness contexts and demonstratives carry the anaphoric load — no overt indefinite or unique article. Possessives are productive. Under the @cite{moroney-2021} typology this is the .markedAnaphoric strategy.
